Enhance your scuba skills, and increase your bottom time with this All-Inclusive PADI Enriched Air Diver Course:
By diving with enriched air - nitrox rather than standard air you can extend your no decompression limits. This means more time underwater safely. For example, if you dive to 50 feet on air, your no decompression limit is 80 minutes. But, diving on an enriched air mixture of 36% you could get 220 minutes of no decompression time – an increase of 140 minutes
Diving with enriched air, sometimes called nitrox, can be less fatiguing to the body, a benefit to older and younger dives alike. What you'll Learn: You'll learn why diving with air that has higher oxygen and lower nitrogen content gives you more bottom time, along with enriched air equipment considerations. During a practical session you'll:
Enriched Air, also known as “Nitrox”, is a form of breathing gas that allows divers to extend bottom time and reduce nitrogen loading. It is PADI’s most popular specialty course. PADI Enriched Air Diver can be completed in as little as an afternoon.
Gear:
Most modern scuba equipment and dive computers can be used with enriched air, but your Aquatic World Instructor will let you know if your gear meets manufacturer recommendations and local requirements.
